Itinerary
Dep after breakfast for Modhera.
Arr. Modhera Sun temple
The 11th-century temple dedicate to Sun God. A non-living temple (no pooja/aartis). Intricate carving all round the temple building. The place where the Government of Gujarat organizes the Uttarardh Mahotsav - Dance Festival every year during the first-weekend after Uttarayan.
Proceed to Patan
Arr. Rani ki Vav at Patan
The world-famous 11th century Solanki era stepwell built by the Queen in memory of her husband. Considered to be India’s largest step well.
Proceed to Patola House. A private museum created and operated by one of the last living families of the world-famous silk Patola sarees.
(It is suggested that lunch be arranged at Patola House on prior booking only. The Salvi family arranges for pure vegetarian meals on prior booking only)
Drive back to Ahmedabad
Arr back to hotel
